Dr. Cecilia Armstrong is originally from North Carolina. She attended Clemson University and received a Bachelor of Science in Animal & Veterinary Science with a minor in modern French language. She then moved back to her home state and attended the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. During that time, she was actively involved in her class government, the Carnivore Conservation Crew, and the Global Health Certificate program.
Dr. Armstrong got the opportunity to move to Albuquerque during her Small Animal Rotating Internship and has fallen in love with the area. She has experience in emergency medicine and caring for exotic species. She is particularly interested in ultrasound, anesthesia, and surgery. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, dancing, water sports, crafting, puzzles, hiking, and traveling. Her Norwegian Elkhound, Heimdall, is a faithful companion on all their adventures!
Dr. Armstrong is very excited about this next chapter in her career. She’s passionate about Aztec and the clinic’s mission and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her clients.
