Dr. Mary England was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. She pursued her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Iowa State University Veterinary College. Dr. England has a passion for small animal and exotic medicine and surgery and loves helping families provide care for their pets. While in practice, she has provided medical and surgical care in areas of emergency/critical care at Iowa Veterinary Specialties and has practiced general medicine and surgery in both Iowa and New Mexico.
Whether your family pets are cats, dogs, birds, mammalian exotics, or reptiles Dr. England looks forward to seeing them all. Exotics especially require very specific care and health monitoring yearly to maintain health and a good quality of life. Dr. England believes strongly in the education of pet owners so they can provide the best care for their pets at home.
She and her husband live in Albuquerque with their three children and three dogs. She enjoys the diversity of Albuquerque, hiking in the Sandias, and spending time with her family and pets. Both she and her husband are veterinarians so her family is truly a pet focused family. She greatly understands the important role that pets play in all of our lives and enjoys helping pets and their families live healthy rewarding lives together. Whether your pet is in need of annual preventative care, long term management of chronic disease, urgent care, or surgical treatment, Dr. England looks forward to meeting you and your pet.
