Dr. Megan Tatoris was born and raised in Michigan. She has dreamed of being a veterinarian since she was a little girl. She finally made that dream a reality in 2013, after graduating with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the St George University in Grenada, West Indies. During clinics, she had a dentistry rotation in New Mexico and fell in love with the sun and outdoor lifestyle. After veterinary school, she moved to Albuquerque and has lived here ever since.
Dr. Tatoris is passionate about the human-animal bond and loves to strengthen it through medicine and compassion. She strives to help clients understand diagnostics and treatments performed on their pets and tries to ensure pets feel as comfortable and happy as they can. She has a special interest in preventative care and geriatric pain management.
Dr. Tatoris lives in Albuquerque with her husband, son, Golden Retriever (Philo), and cat (Cow Cat). She enjoys reading (especially fantasy), hiking, running, and camping during her free time.
